The Flood

A vivid pastoral scene presents a broad, leafy tree in the foreground, its dense canopy shaped with thick, sculptural brushwork. Beyond a low stone wall, a warm yellow house with deep-blue windows peeks out as fine, slanted rain threads the cobalt sky. A meadow of pink, purple and orange wildflowers and a berry-dotted shrub frame the view, adding lively color and balance. The textured surface and bold contrasts convey a quiet, rain‑tinged moment between weather and light.
